BuildersBox

Adds a new item called the Builders Box. Once crafted, the box provides a way to permanently unlock blocks for unlimited use in survival mode, reducing repetitive resource gathering while maintaining progression.

How It Works:

Research:

Collect 64 units of a specific block (e.g., oak planks, stone bricks)

Place the stack into the Research Slot of the Builders Box GUI

After consuming the blocks, that block type is permanently unlocked

Accessing Blocks:

Pull from your offhand in the inventory to withdraw unlimited stacks of any unlocked block

While holding the Builders Box in your main hand researched blocks automatically appear in your offhand slot for building

Key Mechanics:

Anti-Grindset: This mods main purpose is to remove grind for players less likely to get into building or who just want to have a chill time building with their friends. This is not for someone who is looking to spend 24 hours chopping trees down with a stone axe

Research Requirement: 64 blocks per type must be reserched before placing infinitely. This reduces the impact on hard to get resources and items. Unfortunately, the rich continue to get richer

Works along Survival: Not a creative replacement. Blocks must be gathered before unlocking an unlimited supply

Automation: Offhand auto-stocking occurs only when the Box is held

Design Intent:

Streamlines building in survival mode by removing resource bottlenecks after initial collection. It functions similarly to Terraria’s Journey Mode research system but integrates with Minecraft’s survival progression!
