Cal's - Random Items (Fabric/Forge)

All items have been created by request, if you would like to see a cool/funny item added please reach out :) if your idea gets added I will add you as a contributor to the mod.

Paint Brush

This item will allow you to paint or un-paint a variety of blocks(More will be added over time in order of requests received)
To use the brush first click it with a dye item in your inventory. You can then use the now colored brush to paint any blocks that have a paintable variant added.

Paintable Blocks

There are currently 6 different types of paintable blocks(Any Plank type will count as a plank) they are all pastel variants of the vanilla dye colors placed on a greyscaled texture of their parent block. 
I chose to go with a more pastel color scheme in order to make the blocks more useable in a larger variety of builds. 

The blocks currently use block states to change colors. This means that you cannot craft the specific colors nor get the specific colors easily in creative. In order to build with the blocks you NEED to paint them. This MAY be changed in a future version to give each block color its own item(If changed I will do my best to make it save game compatible) However, it will require a much bigger time sync to create new paintable blocks if done this way so there is a very high chance it won't happen for a long while, if ever.

ALL Blocks can now be acquired in creative

Block that gets painted is on the left(Any plank type works)

This item will teleport you in the direction you are looking at the cost of 1 "charge"

Charges refill over time with a default charge rate of 1 per 10 seconds. You can lower the charge time by having

Resonating Orbs in your inventory.

You will get 1 second of slow fall when you use a charge so this should prevent fall damage unless you warped to a location far above the ground

This compass will also allow you to warp upwards through ceilings if you use it while looking a block that has other blocks above it. And down through floors if you use it while sneaking while looking at a block that has a cave below it.(THERE IS A CAP TO THE RANGE IT SEARCHES UP AND DOWN AS WELL AS SOME OTHER LIMITATIONS FOR BALANCING) If you notice weird behavior or would like to see it work differently please let me know.

Resonating Orb

This item is used in crafting and will lower the charge interval of certain Cal's Items like the Whoosh Compass.

Brittle Stone Armor

This armor set is crafted using brittle stone plates. The armor itself will give better protection than iron, along with a small amount of knockback resistance. But it will break over time even when not engaged in combat.

Healing Wood Armor

This armor set is crafted using Healing Wood. (THIS WILL EVENTUALLY ONLY BE ABLE TO BE SOURCED FROM A MOB) The armor itself will give poor protection, however, it will constantly be repairing itself and you by giving you a small amount of regen.

Planned Features:
- Glass Stairs/Slab

- Dirt/Grass Stairs/Slab

- New Mob that will drop healing wood(Crafting recipe will be removed/adjusted)

- New Tree that will have a chance at spawning the new mob when its blocks are broken

- More paintables (Look up Bricks in the creative menu, any block that appears will eventually be paintable, not counting the infested ones)
- Paintable stairs and slabs of all paintable blocks
