Camille's Resourceful Stones
No reviews yet
This datapack adds a VERY RARE chance to find ores while mining stone (and stone-like blocks), making every block a little more interesting to mine. You can boost the probability of getting an ore with Fortune III, but even with it, it still very rare.
Includes systems for trading and managing economies.

Description
When you mine stone, you get cobblestone, right? Yes. With this datapack that's still true. BUT now you might also get some ores!
And not just from stone: deepslate and netherrack too!
For example, mining stone gives a very small chance to drop, from most to least common, coal, raw copper, or raw iron, and much more rarely raw gold or lapis lazuli. There are also two biome-based buffs: more raw copper in dripstone caves and more raw gold in badlands. And in mountain biomes, you can even find emeralds!
If you go deeper, the loot changes. At deepslate level, you cannot get coal, copper and emeralds anymore (well, you can still get copper, but only in dripstone caves, and it's less common), but you can now get redstone and diamonds! Diamonds are so rare that even with Fortune III you probably won't see one for a LOOONG time.
While mining netherrack, you can get some quartz and some gold nuggets.
I hesitated to add loot to end stone as well, but in the end (pun not intended), I decided not to.
This datapack really doesn't aim to be OP in any way, shape, or form. It just adds little surprises you can find from time to time while mining. That's it.
Fully server side, you can add it or remove it at any time to any world (of a compatible game version ofc).
