About

Description

This datapack/mod aims to make enchantments easier to access at the early and mid-game, while not overshadowing enchanting tables in their current state.

Features include

  • Throwing yourself into a campfire/soul campfire is actually a good thing now! (if you have lapis-lazuli, and enough levels).
  • Normal campfires require 5 levels and one lapis. They enchant your items at level 15, compared to a enchanting table, but have a small chance of applying a curse.
  • Soul campfires require 15 levels and also one lapis. They enchant your items at level 30+, compared to a enchanting table, but they always apply curses.
  • Tools that could only receive enchantments through anvils - like flint and steel, shears, carrot on a stick and brushes -, work with campfires!
