About

Description

Logo of beta 1.0.x of the Bronze Age Mod.

Welcome to the Bronze Age Mod!

And to its first release, named "A Dip In The Past". The aim of this mod is to introduce several features revolving around a history-changing alloy, bronze, and around the age named after it.

Current state of the mod

Being in beta, the mod currently has only a handful of features - the basics to allow the player to experience a light modding, allowing for a more historically accurate early game.

Features

The mod has currently added bronze ingots, which can be crafted from a tin nugget and a copper ingot - similarly to how netherite ingots are crafted - and all the tools and weapons made of such a material. Bronze is slightly more durable and stronger than iron; despite this being debatable, it's meant to mirror the mainly aesthetical use of iron during the Bronze Age, and to give players more reasons to mine copper and tin and to use bronze instead of iron.

In addition, new sets of easily accessible building blocks have been added, in order to allow players to mimic the materials that would have been used to build a shelter during the Bronze Age.

Planned Features

Among the planned features there are new sets of coloured blocks, decorative blocks, a new functional block (which already exists in the beta 1.0.0, but lacks a real purpose beyond aesthetics), new structures and mechanics. Stay tuned!
