UPDATE 1.10.2 : This still exists but no longer as a standalone single item mod.  See downloads at https://mods.curse.com/mc-mods/minecraft/239286-cyclic , a mod where you can turn off any items you dont want in config.

Adds one item used to copy and paste contents of note blocks and signs.

Craft with oaper around charcoal.  Use a stack of carbon paper on a note block or sign to pull in the data and be visible on the item stack.  Then you can use the carbon paper on other note blocks/signs to paste it, which will consume one carbon paper each time you paste.

Once carbon paper has data on it, its stuck on there, you have to make fresh carbon paper to copy new stuff.
