Cassette is a Minecraft mod that brings your favorite music from YouTube directly into your game world. Forget about alt-tabbing to change songs; now you can carry your music in your pocket and share it with friends through an immersive 3D audio experience.

• 📺 YouTube Streaming: Play any song or audio directly by pasting a YouTube URL. No need to download files or manage resource packs.

• 🔊 Immersive 3D Positional Audio: Powered by a custom OpenAL implementation, the music follows the player who is holding the cassette. The volume and direction change dynamically based on your position relative to the source!

• 🕹️ Interactive Player Interface: A dedicated GUI with full playback controls:

  • Play/Pause your music at any time.
  • Seek forward or backward 10 seconds.
  • Volume Slider to adjust the output to your liking.
  • Range Control: Decide how far your music should reach (from 8 up to 128 blocks).

• 🫂 Shared Experience: Other players near you can hear the music you're playing, making it perfect for adventures, building sessions, or server events.

• 📜 Dynamic Tooltips: Check what's playing just by hovering over the Cassette item in your inventory.

  🛠️ How to Get Started

  1. Crafting To get your own player, you only need two common items. The recipe is shapeless:

• 1x Jukebox

• 1x Iron Ingot

  1. Using the Cassette

• Right-click with the Cassette in your hand to open the player interface.

• Paste a YouTube URL into the text box and hit "Reproducir".

• Close the GUI and enjoy! The music will keep playing as long as you keep the item in your inventory.

• Requirements: None! All necessary libraries are included within the mod file.
