Description

Created for Castamir, a medieval fantasy roleplay server, CastigoInventory Client adds a custom inventory interface with backpack equipment and inventory sharing.

Features

  • Integrated inventory: press your inventory key (E by default) to access your inventory, armor, offhand, backpack equipment slot, and backpack contents.

  • Three backpack sizes: the satchel provides 9 slots, the travel backpack 18 slots, and the expedition backpack 27 slots.

  • Dedicated equipment slot: equip a backpack without occupying an armor slot or a regular inventory slot.

  • Visible backpacks: the companion server plugin displays equipped backpacks on your character using ItemDisplay entities and custom resource-pack models.

  • Inventory sharing: invite a nearby player to inspect your inventory and backpack through two read-only tabs.

  • Controlled viewing: viewers cannot take or move items. Access ends when players move out of range, disconnect, or the owner stops sharing.

  • Vanilla crafting access: an Artigianato button opens the original crafting and recipe-book interface.

Requirements

  • Minecraft Java Edition 26.2

  • Fabric Loader 0.18.4 or newer

  • Fabric API 0.161.0+26.2 or newer

  • Java 25

  • The companion CastigoZaini 1.1.0-beta.1 plugin on the server

The custom backpack models require the corresponding server resource pack. The server setup uses ItemsAdder.

Important Information

This is a client companion mod, not a standalone backpack mod. The server plugin manages backpack storage, equipment, capacity limits, and sharing permissions.

The custom inventory activates on compatible servers. Creative mode keeps its original inventory interface.

Beta Status

This release is a beta. Compilation and automated logic and protocol checks have passed; full in-game compatibility and visual testing are still pending.
