🎉 CatchInfo 5.0.1

[Version 5.0.1 is made specifically for the Pixelmon Prime server, and I cannot guarantee it will work anywhere else. If you would like to play on Pixelmon Prime, download the Pixelmon Prime Modpack on CurseForge]

For Minecraft 1.16.5 OR 1.21.1 (1.16.5 version of CatchInfo no longer gets updates as it does not need them)

Welcome to CatchInfo — a polished, client-side Pixelmon mod built to make the post-catch experience smoother, smarter, and more player-friendly.

✨ What is CatchInfo?

Catching a Pokémon is exciting — but digging through your PC or typing clunky commands to check IVs, nature, or abilities is not.

CatchInfo fixes that by giving you instant, clean summaries of your Pokémon, right when you need them.
No extra hassle. No clutter. Just the info you care about.

🚀 Features

📊 Instant Post-Catch Summary

  • Automatically shows IVs, Ability, Nature, Gender, Size, Shiny status, Palette, and Typing for newly caught Pokémon in your party.

🪧 CatchInfo Popup

  • Sleek in-game popup after battle ends (unless auto-trashed).
  • Never miss important catches again.

📖 SessionDex

  • Track all catches and IVs in one place without digging through your PC.
  • Highlights standout Pokémon and gives a clear overview of your session.
  • NEW: Proper Pokéball fallback icons when sprites are missing.
  • FIXED (3.6.5): SessionDex now only resets when you click the Reset Session button — no more resets when changing worlds within the same server.
  • Click an entry to instantly pull up its info!

🎨 Custom /ivs Output

  • Polished, color-coded message that’s easier to read.
  • Each stat is clear, with a total percentage for quick evaluation.

🗑️ Auto-Trash System

  • Automatically removes Pokémon that don’t meet your standards.
  • Configurable IV % threshold + optional minimum single IV requirement.
  • Always protects Shinies and Legendaries.
  • Sends a red chat message when a Pokémon is auto-trashed.

⚙️ In-Game Config Screen

  • Toggle features on/off with tooltips for clarity.
  • Reset to Defaults button.
  • No manual config editing required.

⌨️ Keybinds for Quick Control

  • Toggle popup, auto-trash, or confirmation prompts instantly.
  • Open the config screen with a single key.

💾 Persistent Settings

  • Preferences are saved to disk and restored automatically on restart.

📦 Send-to-PC Integration (NEW in 3.6.0)

  • Send Pokémon directly to the PC from the CatchInfoScreen.
  • Choose a default PC box for caught Pokémon.
  • Default selection persists across sessions.
  • Reset to Defaults option included.
  • Clear status labels and tooltips so you always know where your Pokémon will go.

🔔 Feedback Everywhere

  • Toast + chat messages when toggling features.
  • Clear red chat line when auto-trash removes a Pokémon.

⚠️ Limitations

  • CatchInfo only monitors Pokémon in your party slots.
  • It does not scan or interact with Pokémon stored in the PC.
This ensures smooth performance and avoids confusion about unsupported features.

🛠️ Technical Notes

  • Client-Side Only — no server installation required.
  • Pixelmon Compatibility — built for Pixelmon 9.1.13 on Minecraft 1.16.5.
  • Forge — requires Forge 36.x.
