Tutorial
First things first, you can't punch logs without nothing, and wooden tools & non-oak logs are practically useless. That was the first thing I even added to the mod. You should collect sticks and flint first, it'll be useful later on. Use two flint to craft a sharp rock, you can use this to kill mobs, but most importantly: Crafting Shears. Collect 3 ferns for string, and then craft a spear (Unless you don't want to kill, which you will have to due to Wild Boars spawning out of nowhere and immediately attacking you, so Spear reccomended) Kill mobs/animals for bones, which can be crafted into Bone Tools, which you can use to get four important things: Coal, Cobblestone, Tin, and Logs. Cooked Tin can be used with Raw Copper and flint to make Bronze Alloy, which can be campfire smelted for Bronze. Bronze will craft a Sawblade. Tin can also craft a Bucket, IRON Shears, and a Saw. The Saw will be used for crafting A plank. Also craft a hoe for later on. Use Tin and the Sawblade to craft a Sawmill, use the Sawmill for WOODEN PLANKS. Create an armory. Use leather in the armory to craft leather armor, and upgrade your Bone Tools for stronger Stone Tools by using Stone Upgrades. And turn those Stone Tools into Iron Tools using the Iron Upgrade. With an Iron Tools craft a toolbelt, thats used with a Hammer & Saw to consruct a Crafting Table. Speaking of hammers you can use it in the Stump to make regular stone. Use stone to make a wheel on the Crafting Table. Make a Kiln for Bricks, and a farm for wheat. Also mine Salt Rock. Make a Millstone with the Wheel, then use the Millstone to crush Grain and Salt Rock into Flour and Salt. Use Flour, Salt, Sugar and a Bucket o' Water to craft Dough. Cook the Dough in a Furnace for Bread.
Will-Adds
So far, bread is the furthest the mod goes, I'll make a list of everything I want to add, and the top will be the most prioritized.
- Hostile Tribes & Benevolent Tribes
- Village Removal (Replaced by tribes)
Big 1.6 Update!!!
Wheels FINALLY emit redstone when waterlogged. There is two new tier upgrades after iron: Gold (I buffed gold tools, the armor is the same), and Obsidian. Craft their tier upgrades to upgrade your tools. There is a new Mammoth creature. Armor got a big upgrade, with a tier upgrade and their respective material you can craft their armor!
Leather (old) Leather + String
Chainmill (new, apart of stone tier) Tin + Stone upgrade
Iron (new) Iron ingot + Iron upgrade
Gold (new) Gold ingot + Gold upgrade
Emerald (new, apart of obsidian tier) Emerald + Obsidian upgrade
There's lots of bug fixes like usual, and also a wooden shield, and with an iron upgrade, can be upgraded to a normal shield. There is thatch and some more advancements to guide you on what to do next.
