Really great mod, probably one of my favorites of all time. It adds ores are well integrated and have some creative uses + several cave mobs + structures + foliage.

The textures are pristine; Five is one of my favorite artists. Mod is very well integrated into the base game. Mobs and blocks have custom sound design, there is a lot of attention to detail. Ores are very featureful; the Tin and Spinel ores have almost the same amount of uses as iron.

I will give an example: Spinel Ore drops Spinel, which can modify vanilla items. With it you can create the Bejeweled Anvil, which is a pink anvil that does not cost XP, but explodes immediately after use. It can also modify any potion type into Tether Potions, which that can be worn on the helmet slot; it gives you the potion's effects forever, but are very fragile and will shatter instantly when you take non-magic damage. It's a really cool item that makes potions relevant and changes how you play the game.

People have some complaints about documentation and I largely agree. https://www.teamabnormals.com/blog/polished-up-release-notes/ is an exposition of the last major update to the mod, which adds most of the interesting features and doubled its content roster.
