Caves and Katanas
This is a small mod whichs adds katanas to Minecraft, which have a faster attack speed but deal less damage compared to swords of the same material.
Crafting (2.1+):
A handle is crafted with leather and a stick.
Katanas can be crafted with all vanilla materials.
(Wood, Stone, Iron, Gold, Diamond, Netherite (Smithing))
Copper Katana craftable in version 1.21.9+.
Crafting (Pre-2.1)
A katana is crafted with a handle (same as 2.1+) and a katana blade.
A katana blade is made with vanilla materials, in a

This is a small mod whichs adds 6 (7 in 1.21.9+) katanas to Minecraft, which have a faster attack speed but deal less damage compared to swords of the same material, while costing slighty more to craft then a sword.
Crafting:
The handle is crafted with leather and a stick. Katanas can be crafted with all vanilla materials: Wood, Stone, Iron, Gold, Diamond, Netherite (via Smithing). A Copper Katana is craftable in version 1.21.9+.The Recipe for katanas is below:
