Celebratory Spruce
"Spruce" up your world for the holidays with new Christmas-themed blocks and items! This mod adds celebratory spruce trees, decorated with lights and ornaments, to taiga and snowy biomes across the world.
The leaves of these trees will drop ornaments and festive lights, used to craft most of the new items and blocks, along with decorated saplings—which grow into more celebratory spruce trees.
Use an ornament on spruce leaves to hang it up, and right-click on the decorated leaves with an empty hand to take the ornament off. Use an ornament on decorated leaves to cycle through different designs. Festive lights work the same way, creating and cycling through festive leaves. Only spruce leaves can be decorated directly right now.

Wreaths, Light Nets, Log Fires, and Gold Stars
Trees aren’t the only thing that can be decorated! Craft light nets with six festive lights, a copper ingot, and two string to string up lights on any solid block. Use a festive light on light nets to cycle the pattern through eight possible options.
Craft wreaths using eight spruce leaves and then decorate them with a festive light and an ornament. Wreaths can be placed on both walls and floors—try out different patterns!
When you're done collecting spruce leaves, warm up by a cozy log fire. Log fires are crafted with three logs and three sticks, but can't cook food; they just act as decoration.
Of course, as you’re decorating, don’t forget the star for the top of the tree! Craft a star with four festive lights, four gold ingots, and a glowstone block, and use it as decoration, a light source, or both.

Presents and Stockings
Spread the cheer with Christmas gifts! Craft presents out of four paper and an ornament—when placed, presents can hold a single item stack that’s dropped when they’re broken. Just right-click on the present pile with the item you want to add!
Stockings, on the other hand, work similarly to bundles; click on items in the inventory with a stocking to put them in the stocking, and use the stocking to retrieve the items inside it. Stockings hold three stacks of items and can even be worn as hats. Rename a stocking on an anvil to close it for a specific player—that player will be the only person able to open it!

Item Displays
Show off your treasures with item displays, crafted from four copper ingots, four festive lights, and one glass block! These larger analogues of item frames hold one item stack, and don’t display a frame when containing an item. They are ideal for shops, museums, and home décor!
Carol Discs
Create carol discs for holiday tunes on demand! Like ordinary music discs, carol discs can be played in a jukebox—but, unlike normal music discs, they can be crafted. Craft a blank carol disc with four resin chunks and an ornament. Or, paper over the label of an existing music disc with an ornament, a slime ball, and a piece of paper! Set a tune for your new blank carol disc using a dye and a signature item, as listed below.
- Red dye & copper ingot: I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day
- Green dye & any plank: What Child is This
- Blue dye & any wool: Silent Night
- Purple dye & iron ingot: Carol of the Bells
Holiday Treats
Grace your tables with fruit cake and yule log cakes, new placeable foods that grant effects when eaten. Fruit cakes require honey instead of sugar, along with two fruit items. Uneaten fruit cakes can be mined and will drop as an item.

Configurations
For your convenience, this mod includes a configuration to control whether snow and ice melts due to light (and at what light level), along with the light level at which snow piles up and ice freezes. You can also change the temperature setting that determines whether it rains or snows in a biome! These configuration options may have unintended side effects, though, like causing rivers and oceans to freeze—use them at your own risk!
