About
Description
Inspired by the Roblox game Forsaken.
"ChaseSounds" is a "Client-Side" Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.21 that allows you to assign custom music or sound effects to specific players. When a tracked player gets within a certain range, your custom sound will play automatically. This is perfect for PvP, roleplay, or just having fun with friends.
⚠️ This mod is completely Client-Side. It does not need to be installed on the server.
🚀 Key Features
🎵 Custom Audio Loading: Load your own .ogg files directly from your PC using the in-game file selector.
📂 Automatic Resource Pack: The mod automatically generates and enables a local Resource Pack for your sounds—no manual file editing or game restarts required!
⚙️ In-Game Configuration: A clean, easy-to-use GUI to manage tracked players and assign sounds.
📏 Proximity Detection: Adjust the detection range (distance) using a slider. The sound plays when the player enters this radius.
🖱️ User Friendly: Includes a "Chases" button to easily browse and import audio files from your computer.
📖 How to Use
- Press the keybind "O".
- Click the "Chases" button to open the file explorer.
- Select an
.oggaudio file from your computer. - Assign it to one of the 10 available slots (Chase 1, Chase 2, etc.).
- In the main configuration screen, type the "username" of the player you want to track.
- Select the sound you just assigned (e.g., "Chase 1") and click "Add".
- Done! When that player gets close to you, the music will play.
