Description
ChatScope
Watch your Minecraft chat live in a web browser — organised into sections you define, with the noise filtered out.
ChatScope runs a small web server inside your game. Open http://localhost:25534 in any browser (or on your phone, tablet, or a second monitor) and you get a real-time mirror of your chat that you can shape however you like. It's great for keeping an eye on chat while you're recording with the HUD hidden, watching a busy server, or just having chat on a second screen.
Features
- Live chat streamed instantly over a WebSocket — no refreshing. Minecraft colours, bold/italic, and in-game hover tooltips (item stats, entity info) are preserved.
- Sections you configure — split chat into as many named sections as you want, each matched by your own regular expressions. Sections are collapsible and resizable, and anything unmatched lands in a catch-all.
- Filters — hide spammy messages entirely with your own patterns.
- Live settings panel — add, rename, reorder, and toggle sections and filters right in the browser. Changes apply instantly and are saved locally.
- Player list like the in-game tab list: heads, ping, and game mode, with Online and Offline tabs (Offline shows everyone seen in the chat log).
- Player profiles — click any player for a rotating 3D view of their skin plus their full logged message history, with search and pagination.
- Per-server chat log stored locally in SQLite, with a separate table per server so history never mixes.
- Optional password and network access — the dashboard listens on all interfaces so it's easy to port-forward, and you can require a password from the mod settings (empty means open).
- Extras: dark/light theme, accessibility mode, mention sound, live viewer count, connection uptime, chat search, and text export.
No external frontend frameworks. Just HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Make it yours
Click the ⚙ settings button in the dashboard.
- Sections each have a name, an on/off toggle, and one or more regex patterns. A message goes to the first enabled section whose pattern matches, so order matters (use the ↑ / ↓ buttons). For example,
^\[Staff\]for a staff section, orwas slain|drowned|fellto group deaths. - Filters each take one regex. Any message matching an enabled filter is hidden. For example,
^SHOP »to drop shop spam.
Patterns are standard JavaScript regular expressions matched against the plain text of each message. Invalid patterns are flagged and safely ignored. Your configuration is saved per browser, so everyone viewing can lay it out their own way.
Network & password
The dashboard listens on all network interfaces, so you can reach it from other devices at http://<your-ip>:25534 or port-forward it directly. Open the mod settings (via Mod Menu, or config/chatscope.json) to set a password if you expose it. Only share access with people you trust.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.21.11 (Fabric)
- Fabric API
0.140.0+1.21.11or newer - Java 21+

Cloth Config is bundled, so you don't need to install it separately.
