Description

banner Cherry On Top is a lightweight datapack that aims to expand vanilla food options with more variety and utility. You can use more vanilla ingredients in cooking and gain various status effects more conveniently.

  • Cherries now replace Cherry Sapling and can be used as berries in crafting recipes. Foods made with cherries can grant players the Health Boost effect.
  • Wild Berries now replace Poisonous Potatoe and come in three variants, each dropping from breaking grass in biomes belonging to a different climate zone. They make for a convenient snack and can also be used as berries in crafting recipes.
  • Fern has now been renamed Fiddlehead. It can be used as vegetables in crafting recipes or cooked and eaten.
  • Silver Apple is a special apple variant that can be obtained by killing Pillagers and Evokers. It grants players the Haste effect, which gradually decreases in level over time.
  • Pink Petals, Wildflowers, and other atypical flowers can now be used to craft Suspicious Stew.
