About
Description
ChestSeek
Find items in an open chest or container with a search field above its inventory.
Features
- Click-to-focus search bar
- Case-insensitive item-name matching
- Matching slots stay bright while non-matching items dim
- Optional matching against the item's mod namespace
How to use
Open a chest or container, click the Search... field above it, and type an item name. Use Backspace to edit. Escape clears the search and leaves the field.
Use the 1.1.0 release: it includes the container mixin and input fixes described in its changelog. Its filename and internal version still read ChestSeek-1.0.0.jar / 1.0.0.
Installation
Client-side Fabric mod. Choose a file marked for your Minecraft version. Requires Fabric Loader 0.17.2 or newer, Java 21, Fabric API, and YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL). Mod Menu is optional for opening settings.
