Chillchilla is a cozy Fabric mod that introduces adorable Chinchillas to your Minecraft world! These fluffy rodents aren't just here to look cute, they bring unique behaviors, useful materials, and brand-new mechanics to upgrade your survival experience.

 Meet the Chinchillas

    Explore your worlds to find these sweet, jumping fluffballs!

• Natural Spawning: Look for them in arid, alpine, and rocky biomes, specifically Jagged Peaks, Stony Peaks, Badlands, Eroded Badlands, Wooded Badlands, and Meadow.
• Multiple Variants: Keep an eye out for Standard (Grey), Brown, and White chinchillas.
• Behavior: Watch them happily explore or take unique dust baths to keep their precious coats clean. When they bathe, they can drop various items, such as gold nuggets, iron nuggets, fur, or pumice stone. They can only bathe if they are on gravel, sand, or red sand. They will also occasionally take little hops while walking.
• They Can Blink: YESSSS THEY CAN BLINK THIS IS THE BEST DETAIL OF THE MOD!

 Fur Block

    Harvest fur to create an interesting building block.

• Chinchilla Fur Block: Soft to the touch and highly functional. Just like wool, these blocks dampen vibrations and occlude sculk signals, making them perfect for sneaking around Ancient Cities. Chinchilla Fur Blocks absorb water. They act like a sponge but with a smaller, balanced radius of 3 blocks.
• Wet Fur Blocks & Drying: Once water is absorbed, the block turns into a Wet Chinchilla Fur Block. Unlike normal sponges, fur takes a bit longer to dry out, but you can use the custom drying recipe to restore them to their fluffy state.

 Gear & Items

    Use chinchilla materials to craft unique utility items and gear.

• Pumice Stone: Its main mechanic is converting bad potions into good ones (for example, Weakness into Strength). You can remove the oxidation from copper blocks by right-clicking them with it. You can also craft one of these stones into two wind charges.
• Fur Boots: Granting armor points isn't its strong suit, but it does protect you from 80% more fall damage.
• Fur Bow: It is a more powerful bow.
• Chinchilla Fur: It's used to craft the fur block, fur boots, and fur bow.

🌍 Language Support

For now, Chillchilla supports two languages:

• 🇺🇸 English
• 🇪🇸 Spanish (Includes region-specific localizations for Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Spain, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela.)

Under Development

The mod is still under development. Things you can expect in future updates include: more chinchilla variants, more items, and more mechanics for pumice stone.
