Chocolate Coin is a small Minecraft mod that adds chocolate food, chocolate coins, foil packaging, molds, and a freshness system.

Chocolate

Regular chocolate gives:

• 7 hunger points

• Speed I

• Haste I

• Regeneration I

Chocolate Coin

The Chocolate Coin is a powerful emergency food item.

Eating it gives:

• 15 hunger points

• Speed II

• Haste II

• Regeneration II

But it is not meant to be easy to obtain. Its crafting process requires special molds and materials.

Foiled Chocolate Coin

A Chocolate Coin can be wrapped in foil to create a Foiled Chocolate Coin.

The foil protects the coin from losing its freshness.

Unwrapping

Right-click a Foiled Chocolate Coin to unwrap it.

You receive:

• 1 Chocolate Coin

• 8 Dirty Foil

Cleaning Dirty Foil

Dirty Foil can be cleaned using a Brush on a crafting table.

Place the Brush in the center and surround it with Dirty Foil.

The result is:

• 8 Foil

Freshness System

An unwrapped Chocolate Coin slowly loses its freshness.

0–30 seconds

The Chocolate Coin is fresh and safe to eat.

30–60 seconds

The Chocolate Coin becomes an Unfresh Chocolate Coin and starts to melt.

Eating it gives:

• Speed II — 15 seconds

• Haste II — 15 seconds

• Regeneration II — 10 seconds

• Nausea I — 15 seconds

After 60 seconds

The Unfresh Chocolate Coin disappears.

Anvil

Foil can be created using an anvil.

The Goal

The Chocolate Coin is designed to be a last-resort item, not something that can be produced and used effortlessly.

Its difficult crafting process, foil packaging, and freshness system make you think carefully about when to use it.
