Description
ChunkComfort is a minecraft mod meant to reward the player for fitting out their base.
It works by assigning blocks, actions and entities comfort points which are all summed up to a total amount in a configurable radius around the player. If the total of these points reach a configurable treshold buffs can be applied through either negating or adding potion effects to the player whilst the player is in the comfort zone
For example, if a player places down 2 bookshelves (2pt), has a tamed cat(3pt), a fireplace(requirement) and a I&F dragon skull(8pt) the total would be 13 points. This would activate comfort level 1 set at 10 points and give e.g. speed debuff and negate blindness in a radius of 3x3 chunks.
Each aspect of the above and more is configurable, for one you can also pet cats and get a temporary comfort boost, you can make it so the dragon skull needs a NBT string {type:2} or you can make it so your cat needs to be of the tuxedo kind. You can also choose to add a gorgon from the mod ice and fire and name it "wife" or "girlfriend" for 10 additional points!
I really let scope creep get the better of me and more is planned, such as having certain consumables increase comfort level.
Main Features:
- Add or remove potion effects from players when a comfort treshold is reached
- Ability to add comfort points through naming or petting (cuddling) your pets.
- Immersion through JEI tooltips, Advancement popups when new comfort level is reached, hover-over inventory tooltip & comfort placement feedback (green particles)
- Boss bar detection, SimpleDifficulty temperature, Shelter, Lightlevel and Fire requirements all configurable.
- Customizable wake-up messages.
- Performance rating adjustable, configured for high density packs such as RLCraft Dregora.
- High compatibility with other mods such as Lycanitesmobs, Ice and Fire, Comforts, Rustic and more!
Configurability:
