Description

Classic Customized World Generation brings Minecraft’s classic 1.12.2 Customized world type back to Forge 1.20.1.

Create worlds with 79 customizable terrain and generation options, including terrain height, biome size, river size, sea level, caves, ravines, lakes, dungeons, ores, fixed biomes, lava oceans, and structure toggles. The mod includes the original seven presets: Water World, Isle Land, Caver’s Delight, Mountain Madness, Drought, Caves of Chaos, and Good Luck.

The terrain noise, biome layers, caves, ravines, ore distributions, lakes, and world height follow the classic Customized generator. Every option includes an explanation tooltip and its original default value. Settings persist through world creation, saving, reopening, server restarts, and Re-Create.

Designed for Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge, this mod is ideal for players who want the old Customized world experience with modern Minecraft compatibility.

Some vegetation, structure templates, loot, and decoration still use modern 1.20.1 behavior. This project is focused on restoring the classic generator while continuing to improve full 1.12.2 fidelity.
