Description

header Do Not install this mod on existing worlds!! Create a new world when starting this mod, as it uses a custom dimension that will break your world if the mod is removed.

line_break1

This is a Classic Minecraft/Modern Minecraft hybrid mod that recreates the style of Classic Minecraft while having the features and polish similar to modern Minecraft.

This mod works by creating a new dimension that the player stays in. All the new blocks and items are found or created within this dimension. (Dimensions such as the Overworld, End, or Nether aren't accessible during normal survival gameplay, but a gamerule is included if you want to still access these dimensions in creative).

Advancements and recipes are available to help the player progress if needed. (a mod like EMI or JEI is not required due to recipes being unlockable in the Recipe Book)

It's recommended to use the built-in Programmer Art texture pack while playing this mod.

If you're stuck while playing, The advancements and recipe book will help you progress!

Standout Features:

Consistant Building blocks

showcase of multiple polished blocks such as Polished Sandstone, Polished Iron, Polished Gold, Polished Stone, Polished Bedrock and Polished Cobbled Stone Classic Combined adds many blocks to build with out of the materials you'll gather including Stone, Wood, Clay, Sand, Iron, Gold, and Cloth. Many of these can be polished and have their respective Stair and Slab variants.

Modern World Generation

showcase of a river with a mountain range and a desert nearby Classic Combined features Modern styled world generation with a depth of -64 and a height of 319. This allows large structures to be built and allows mountains to stretch high into the sky. Caves also reflect modern Minecraft's caves, with large open caverns and small claustriphobic tunnels.

Monsters

showcase of a player fighting a surface Zombie Monsters also spawn in the world. As of update 1.0, you can find Zombies spawning on the surface at night, Underground Zombies spawning underground or under overhangs, and skeletons spawning underground.

Tool Progression

showcase of the tool progression from Wood to Stone to Iron to Gold. Bedrock tools exist but mine at the same speed as stone As you progress through the game, you'll use a lot of different tools to your advantage. Wooden tools will double the amount you get from certain blocks. Iron tools are very durable, but slow. Gold tools are fast, but less durable than Iron tools. Bedrock tools are like Stone tools, but doesn't break.

Reinvisioned Modern features

showcase of a player putting items into a classic combined bundle UI Some features from modern Minecraft have been reinvisioned for Classic Combined such as Bundles, Beacons, and Respawn Anchors.

Score counter

showcase of a player breaking a block to increase their score level As you do things such as break blocks, place blocks, eat, and kill monsters, your score will increase. This is like a high score in an arcade game. It will reset if you die, and advancements are present for certain high score levels.

Advancements

showcase of a few advancements to help guide a player through the mod if needed Advancements are used to show you how to progress or show different tricks and tips the game provides. If you are stuck on how to progress, the Advancements and the Recipe Book will help guide you on how to progress.

Recipe Book Functionality

showcase of recipes being unlockable in the crafting table recipe book. Items are sorted and groups are used to decrease clutter As you obtain new items, new recipes will unlock in the recipe book. This means a mod like EMI or JEI is not required. Recipes are grouped together to make the recipe book organized and less cluttered to look through.

Chairs (that's cool!)

showcase of a player sitting on a chair (that's cool!) You can sit in the chairs.

Stamina System

showcase of a player regaining their stamina after sprinting Instead of removing the ability to sprint, a Stamina System has been introduced. It allows you to sprint for short periods of time with a larger cost on your hunger than vanilla. The lightning bolt on your hotbar indicates how much stamina you have.

This mod is not intended to be a finished product, but rather a project I wish to build on over time.

This mod is built in MCreator.
