Build tiny armies, watch little towns grow, and start a war over a patch of grass.

Clay Soldiers World brings classic Clay Soldiers battles to Minecraft Forge 1.20.1 and expands them into a living miniature world. Equip your soldiers, give them orders, and build the perfect battlefield, or explore a countryside filled with little kingdoms, working harbors, traveling merchants, and miniature machines.

One moment you’re watching two teams fight over a hill. The next, you’re following a pack snail caravan while a tiny biplane passes overhead.

Tiny Soldiers, Big Battles

Create colorful armies and equip them by dropping compatible items nearby. Soldiers can collect weapons, armor, ranged equipment, utility upgrades, and special abilities that change how they fight.

Give them horses, pegasi, turtles, bunnies, or geckos to ride. Use the Battle Command Staff to organize formations and issue attack, defend, follow, hold, or retreat orders.

For custom battles, Team Spawners and Arena Controllers help you create waves, organize teams, and track the winner. Named heroes can earn ranks and victories, while fallen heroes can be remembered with memorials.

A World of Little Kingdoms

Naturally generated clay villages develop into persistent kingdoms with their own names, rulers, cultures, territories, and histories.

Residents take on jobs, carry supplies between buildings, work at stocked workshops, and help keep their settlements running. Towns can grow, trade, form diplomatic relationships, defend themselves, and go to war.

There’s quieter life between the battles, too. Soldiers stop to chat, remember familiar companions, share meals outside inns, and gather around musicians. At night, most eligible soldiers head into nearby buildings before returning at sunrise, leaving others outside on watch.

Configurable sister villages give natural towns a chance to gain a nearby same-color neighbor as you explore new terrain.

Miniature Buildings with Character

Discover or build with 20 custom miniature building models, including cottages, an inn, a bakery, workshops, a greenhouse, a market, a warehouse, a snail post office, barracks, a watchtower, a shipyard, and a plane hangar.

Buildings have shaped collision, and residents can navigate around them to reach their work porches. Many include storage or practical services, from turning wheat into bread to supplying repairs and medical treatment.

Natural town buildings serve their residents automatically. Player-placed buildings stay private until you choose to share them.

Boats, Caravans, and Busy Harbors

Watch sailboats cross the water, horse-drawn wagons follow the roads, and pack snails carry caravans between settlements.

The transport collection includes fishing skiffs, cargo barges, merchant cutters, four-seat ferries, crab boats, passenger coaches, tugboats, cargo rafts, cable lifts, and dragonfly couriers.

Working harbors recruit fishers and dockworkers from their towns. Fishers sail out and return with a catch, then workers carry it home before the settlement receives its food.

Idle soldiers can automatically board nearby suitable vehicles. Crewed personal boats cruise on their own, while staff orders and assigned trade routes take priority.

Little Machines, Serious Firepower

Add scout biplanes, larger bombers, rapid-firing anti-aircraft guns, armored beetle tanks, siege mortars, and mobile siege towers to your miniature world.

Scout planes fire tiny pebbles at hostile aircraft. Planes and bombers need living pilots, and losing a pilot in flight can send an aircraft crashing down. Aircraft crashes and the new projectile weapons are designed to leave your terrain intact.

• Traveling festival caravans

Small Details That Bring It Together

Turning windmills process supplied wheat into bread. Traveling tinkers repair friendly machines using their supplies. Musicians play lute, drum, and flute tunes. Little lanterns cast real, gentle light, and a compact banner welcomes you when you enter a town.

The Clay World Atlas helps you discover and track kingdoms, while the Clay Lexicon explains soldiers, upgrades, mounts, buildings, vehicles, and world systems. Configuration options let you adjust village generation, growth speed, natural inhabitants, nighttime sheltering, and more.

Getting Started

1. Craft a Clay Soldier Doll and use it on a block to deploy a soldier.
2. Try different colors to create opposing teams.
3. Drop compatible upgrade items nearby and watch your soldiers collect them.
4. Use the Battle Command Staff when you want to take control.
5. Find a natural settlement or start experimenting with building and vehicle kits.

Compatibility and World Updates

• Minecraft: 1.20.1
• Loader: Forge 47.4.10 or newer in the 47.x series
• Play: Single-player and multiplayer
• Multiplayer: Install the same mod version on the server and clients

Back up your world before updating and replace the previous mod JAR rather than keeping both installed. Existing settlements are preserved. New natural village layouts and sister villages require suitable newly explored terrain.

Buildings use outdoor work porches and doorway sheltering rather than full walkable interiors.
