About
Description
In some modpacks, Minecraft's sound engine suffers a memory leak that causes progressive FPS drops over time until the game becomes unplayable. This was diagnosed using the Spark profiler, and the only known fix was manually toggling the sound setting off and on to force a reset.
SoundClear automates this fix with a configurable timer (default: every 2 minutes) that clears leaked looping sound channels before they pile up, while staying music-aware via reflection so a clear cycle never cuts off a song mid-track.
