CNPC Epic Fight Addon Community Edition (CE)

A community-maintained edition of the original CNPC Epic Fight Addon.

This project continues the original addon developed by Goodbird, focusing on bug fixes, compatibility improvements, stability enhancements, and practical improvements requested by the CustomNPCs community.

CNPC Epic Fight Addon CE does not replace the original design. It improves and maintains the addon for modern modded environments.

Epic Fight Compatibility Improvements

• Fixed long-standing issues from the original addon.
• Restored proper Epic Fight stun behavior for NPC attacks.

NPC attacks can now correctly apply Epic Fight combat effects.

Modern Optimization Mod Compatibility

Added a universal compatibility layer for optimization mods that modify Minecraft internals.

Compatible with optimization solutions such as:

This prevents Epic Fight capabilities from becoming invalid in heavily optimized modpacks.

Indestructible Compatibility

Supports the Epic Fight addon:

Improves compatibility between CustomNPCs, Epic Fight, and related combat extensions.

• Refactored core architecture.

Data Validation System

Improved data pack loading safety.

Instead of repeatedly loading invalid data and producing large amounts of log spam:

• Invalid data is detected before loading.
• Failed data is safely rejected.
• Detailed error information is provided.
• Problem locations are easier to identify.
