Banner
Cobble Bash is a Cobblemon addon that adds a full instanced gym progression system.

Players enter private gym instances through the Training Simulator, battle two trainers and a gym boss, and earn a Gym Badge of that gyms type through [CobbleBadges](https://modrinth.com/mod/cobblebadges2) integration. Each gym is built as its own temporary structure in a custom void dimension, then cleaned up after completion, defeat, logout, or leaving.

NPCs:



Gym Leaders and Trainers

Each Type Gym will have 2 Trainers and 1 Gym Leader. The player will have to beat the Trainers and Gym leader in order, once the gym is defeated the player will be granted a badge of that type from CobbleBadges. Repeat clears of a gym grant increased XP.


Elite 4

Once the player has defeated all 18 Type Gyms, they will be able to challenge the Elite 4. There are 4 Elite 4 Members and 1 Champion, the player must Beat Each member and the champion to become a champion. Once the champion is defeated the player will be given the Champion Upgrade smithing template, this will allow them to upgrade a beacon or trainer ribbon to its champion form.


League Representative

A villager can use the Training Simulator as a job site to become a League Representative, they will trade cobblemon combat items and in higher level trades Training Discs.

Training Discs

Training Discs are used on a Training Simulator to enter CobbleBash gym simulations. Each disc opens a different type-themed gym, and the Elite Four Disc opens the final Elite Four challenge. Discs can be found in structures or purchased from League Represent villager traders, with higher-level representatives offering better and more reliable disc trades.

- Normal Disc: Plains village houses, dungeons.
- Fighting Disc: Pillager outposts, trial chamber rewards.
- Flying Disc: Pillager outposts, shipwreck map chests, trial chamber supplies.
- Poison Disc: Jungle temples, mineshafts.
- Ground Disc: Desert pyramids, desert village houses.
- Rock Disc: Mineshafts, trial chamber corridors.
- Bug Disc: Jungle temples, mineshafts, taiga village houses.
- Ghost Disc: Woodland mansions, ancient cities.
- Steel Disc: Armorer houses, weaponsmith houses, trial chamber rewards.
- Fire Disc: Ruined portals, Nether fortresses, bastion treasure.
- Water Disc: Shipwrecks, buried treasure, underwater ruins.
- Grass Disc: Jungle temples, plains village houses, taiga village houses.
- Electric Disc: Trial chamber rewards, ancient cities, ruined portals.
- Psychic Disc: Stronghold libraries, ancient cities.
- Ice Disc: Igloos, ancient city ice boxes.
- Dragon Disc: End cities, stronghold libraries, stronghold corridors.
- Dark Disc: Woodland mansions, ancient cities.
- Fairy Disc: Woodland mansions, village temples, stronghold libraries.
- Elite Four Disc: Awarded after completing all 18 gyms, rarely found in End City treasure, and available as a high-level League Representative trade. It cannot be used until all 18 gyms are complete.


Training Simulator

The Training Simulator is the core block used to run CobbleBash gym simulations. Use a Training Disc on The Training Simulator to enter that disc’s gym. Villagers can also use the Training Simulator as a job site to become League Representatives.

I = Iron Ingot, C = Copper Ingot, S = Smooth Stone, R = Redstone Block


Trainer Ribbon

Trainer Ribbon is earned by defeating your fist CobbleBash gym leaders, including repeat clears of that gym. They can be equipped in a Curios charm slot and grant a stat bonus based on the lead Pokemon in your party.

Type based stat bonuses:
- Normal: Max health, movement speed, and attack damage.
- Fire: Reduced burn duration and increased attack damage.
- Water: Improved water movement and increased oxygen bonus.
- Electric: Increased movement speed and attack speed.
- Grass: Better movement efficiency, increased sweeping damage, and slight movement speed.
- Ice: Increased armor toughness and knockback resistance.
- Fighting: Increased attack damage.
- Poison: Increased attack damage and attack knockback.
- Ground: Increased max health.
- Flying: Increased safe fall distance and reduced fall damage.
- Psychic: Increased block interaction range and entity interaction range.
- Bug: Increased attack speed.
- Rock: Increased mining efficiency.
- Ghost: Reduced mob follow range and increased max health.
- Dragon: Increased explosion knockback resistance and attack damage.
- Dark: Increased sneaking speed and reduced mob follow range.
- Steel: Increased armor.
- Fairy: Increased luck.

Champion Ribbon

The Champion Ribbon is created in a smithing table using a Trainer Ribbon, a Champion Upgrade Smithing Template, and a Netherite Ingot. The Champion Upgrade Smithing Template is earned by defeating the Elite Four Champion. When equipped in a Curios charm slot, the Champion Ribbon upgrades the ribbon bonus so its stat bonus is based on every Pokemon in your party.

The Champion Beacon is an endgame Cobblemon Beacon created in a smithing table using a vanilla Beacon, a Champion Upgrade Smithing Template, and a Netherite Ingot. It functions like an enhanced beacon with Cobblemon-focused aura effects.

Champion Beacon auras include:
- Crop growth for apricorns and berries inside the aura
- Daycare XP for nearby pasture Pokemon inside the aura
- EV training for nearby pasture Pokemon inside the aura
- Faster wild Cobblemon spawning inside the aura
- Wild spawn suppression inside the aura
- Small bonus shiny chance for Cobblemon spawned inside the aura
