🛡️ CobbeGuard - Smarter Wild Pokémon & Combat AI for Cobblemon CobbeGuard is an open-source, server-side mod for Cobblemon, designed to add reactive behavior and advanced combat AI to Pokémon in your world. Inspired by FOF and built from scratch, it's made for immersion, challenge, and automation—no client mod required.

⚙️ Core Features: Follower Battle AI: If caught, your Pokémon will automatically attack any entity you attack, using appropriate moves based on type advantage.

Wild Behavior: Wild Pokémon will fight back if their stats are higher than the attacker's, or run away if they're weaker.

Aggressive Wild Encounters: Certain Pokémon will automatically attack players nearby. Those Pokémon are based on their stats.

Smart Move Usage: Pokémon will choose moves based on type effectiveness. For example, a Fire-type will prefer Fire moves against Grass-types before using neutral moves.

Two Types of Attacks:

Ranged: Used if the target is far; range increases with Pokémon size.

Melee: Used when close enough.

🔥 Type-Based Effects: Each move type applies a unique effect:

Type Effect Fire Sets target on fire; damage and duration scale with level Ice Freezes and slows target; moderate damage Poison Applies poison effect and small damage Fighting / Steel Applies weakness and damage Ground / Rock Direct damage Electric Electrifies target; causes damage in water and adds extra zap effect Water Applies “Bubbling” – removes air for a few seconds; deals damage Bug Applies “Cobweb” – restricts movement and does damage Grass Heals the attacker slightly on hit; deals damage Flying Adds extra knockback; deals damage Dragon Heavy damage

  • Some of the Effects are not added yet, those will be added in a future.

🎮 Other Features: Commands:

Toggle whether Pokémon attack players.

Command Pokémon to stop attacking.

On fail catching outside a battle, Pokémon will attack you.

Remote targeting (mark enemies for Pokémon to attack).

Experience System: Pokémon gain experience when defeating other Pokémon. Also it drops experience and items. Visual effects and icons

Added Compat with Plushies, PokeStops, CobbleBosses.
