Cog & Capture: GeOre Expansion expands the GeOre resource system with additional materials and integrations for the Cog & Capture modpack.

The first addition is Reggarfonite, integrating Create: Better Motors into GeOre-style renewable resource generation.

Instead of simply mining individual Reggarfonite ore blocks, players can discover large underground Reggarfonite geodes containing permanent budding blocks. These budding blocks grow crystals that can be harvested for Reggarfonite Shards.

Four Reggarfonite Shards can be crafted into one Create: Better Motors Reggarfonite.

Reggarfonite geodes generate only in the Overworld's deep layers, from Y -64 to Y 0, with an average placement attempt of approximately one per 96 chunks.

The budding blocks are intentionally location-bound. Discovering a geode therefore establishes a renewable resource site rather than providing a resource block that can simply be carried home. Players are encouraged to build remote harvesting operations and transport the resulting materials using systems such as Create trains, Applied Energistics 2, or other automation and logistics systems.
