Collar Catcher: The Dog Revival Mod!

Never lose a dog again!

Have you ever gone out of your way to tame dogs in your Minecraft world, only to leave them sitting in your house for all time, too worried to expose them to the dangers of the outside world? Do you want to take your pets with you on adventures across the world, without risk of them being lost forever?

This mod aims to do just that! Install it into your game, and your dogs will drop their collars upon death!

Collars 

Instead of a fragile, flammable item, these collars are instantly spawned in the world as a falling block, one that is almost guaranteed to land and safely preserve your dogs data spirit! This collar can then be safely picked up and moved somewhere free of danger. 

Golden Bones 

To bring your dog back from beyond, you'll need a special item: a Golden Bone! Crafted in the way one would probably expect, a right click of it on a spare collar will return your dog to the land of the living!

You can also craft an enhanced version of the bone by putting a diamond in it. This handy treat will revive your dogs at full health, and provide them with several temporary buffs so they can jump right back into the fight!

Authors Notes 

I've had this mods concept in my head for years now, but never really had the time, ability or motivation to do it all. One computer science degree and Minecraft renaissance later, here it finally is! This mod has been a very interesting little learning experience, I can't wait to hear everyone's feedback on it.
