Comedy And Tragedy is a psychological horror mod for Minecraft Forge 1.20.1 that introduces two mysterious jesters who have something planned for you.

At first, everything might seem normal. You explore your world, build your house, and go about your day. But eventually, you'll realize that something is watching you.

And whatever it is, it doesn't seem interested in leaving.

This mod isn't just about monsters chasing you. It's about unexpected encounters, strange performances, disturbing conversations, and being forced into situations you never agreed to.

The show must go on. Whether you like it or not.

What is Comedy And Tragedy?

Comedy And Tragedy introduces two unique entities, each with their own personality, behavior, animations, and encounters.

Comedy enjoys entertaining his audience. Unfortunately, his definition of entertainment might be a little different from yours.

Tragedy, on the other hand, isn't nearly as friendly.

Throughout your survival world, you'll experience scripted events that slowly turn an ordinary Minecraft playthrough into something much more unsettling.

Some encounters require you to watch. Others require you to listen.

And In The Maze If You Say To Tragedy While He Is Chasing You "Look Behind You" That Will Keep Him Busy Do What You Will With That Information

And sometimes, your only option is to run.

Features

✦ Comedy — The Entertainer

Comedy is a mysterious jester who seems to enjoy putting on a show.

He may appear unexpectedly in your world, staring directly at you as if he's been waiting for your arrival.

But don't expect him to behave like an ordinary Minecraft mob.

Comedy has his own animations, voice lines, sounds, and scripted encounters.

He might tell you a joke, demand your attention, or invite you to participate in something you weren't prepared for.

Just remember, not every joke is meant to be funny.

✦ Tragedy — The Other Half

Unlike Comedy, Tragedy doesn't seem particularly interested in making you laugh.

Tragedy introduces a more dangerous side to the mod, featuring threatening encounters, disturbing sounds, and intense chase sequences.

He can pursue players through their surroundings, turning what once felt like a safe environment into somewhere you desperately want to escape.

And hiding might not always be enough.

Comedy wants an audience. Tragedy wants something else.

Not every encounter takes place in your Minecraft world.

The mod introduces a custom theater dimension where players can find themselves involved in a strange performance.

A stage, an audience, and two jesters who seem to have everything planned out.

The theater features scripted sequences, dialogue, and interactions that make the experience feel different from ordinary Minecraft horror.

Sometimes, you'll have to make a decision.

And sometimes, the decision has already been made for you.

The theater isn't the only unfamiliar place you'll experience.

Comedy And Tragedy also introduces a maze encounter where finding your way out becomes your main objective.

Getting lost is easy.

Finding your way back might be a different story.

And you might not be alone in there.

✦ Voice Recognition

One of the mod's features is its integration with voice chat.

Certain encounters can react to what players say through their microphones, making the experience more interactive.

Your voice can become part of the encounter, meaning that speaking isn't always the safest option.

Be careful what you say. Someone might be listening.

Comedy And Tragedy isn't limited to singleplayer.

The mod supports multiplayer encounters, allowing friends to experience the horror together.

Certain events are shared between players, including the theater experience.

If one player gets dragged into the performance, the others might find themselves becoming part of the audience too.

Having friends around doesn't necessarily make things safer.

Comedy And Tragedy is a horror mod I've been working on to create something different from the usual Minecraft horror experience.

I wanted the encounters to feel more like actual events rather than just having a monster randomly spawn and chase you.

The mod focuses on two characters with completely different personalities, while still making them feel connected.

Some events are meant to be unexpected, so I recommend playing without knowing too much about what happens.
