About

Description

A companion-management add-on for The Vault (Vault Hunters). Companion Codex gives you one dedicated place to organize all of your companions, build a party out of them, and bring that party into the world.

Features

  • Companion Codex block — A placeable station that opens a full companion-management screen. Right-click it to browse every companion you own, each shown with its level, health, temporals and relics, all in one view.
  • Build a party — Assemble a party from your favourite companions and choose a leader. Your party size starts small and grows as you progress, so there is always a reason to expand your roster.
  • Companion Crest — A wearable crest for the Curios head slot. Bind it to yourself, equip it, and your assembled party is summoned into the world to follow you wherever you go.
  • Party modifiers at a glance — The Codex screen sums up your whole party's Temporals and Relics (plus companion challenge and curse totals), so you can see exactly what your party brings before you set out.
  • Party temporal — Trigger your party's temporal effect on demand.
  • Configurable — Tune the base party size, level-based size tiers, and more through a simple config file.

Getting started

  1. Craft and place the Companion Codex block, then right-click it to open the management screen.
  2. Add companions to your party from the left-hand roster, then press Assemble. Left-click a party member to make it the leader; right-click to remove it.
  3. Take a Companion Crest from the Codex, equip it in your head Curios slot, and your party will appear and follow you.
  4. Configure keybinds to cycle through your companions and activate the selected Temporal Modifier. The activation key can be bound to the same key as the default companion ability, as the two systems do not conflict.

Requirements

  • Minecraft 1.18.2 (Forge)
  • The Vault (Vault Hunters 3rd edition)
  • Curios API
