# Copper Creek Nights

A decorative Minecraft mod inspired by classic night-shift horror games.  
Build your own diner stage, place a band of four unique animatronics, install security cameras and watch the feeds on a handheld tablet – complete with static, scanlines, vignette and a blinking REC indicator.

## Features

### The Band (2 blocks tall, face the player)
- **Duke the Deer** – Lead singer with microphone stand  
- **Rascal the Raccoon** – Drummer with snare and sticks  
- **Olga the Owl** – Guitarist

### Security System
- **Surveillance Camera** – Can be placed on walls, ceilings or floors depending on where you aim  
- **Security Tablet** – Link up to 12 cameras and switch between live feeds  

### Decoration Blocks
- Stage platform & stage curtain  
- Checker tile floor & diner wallpaper  
- Stage speaker, spotlight (emits light), party table  
- Security desk with monitor  

All items appear as flat 2D icons in the inventory and as detailed 3D models when placed. Everything is available in a dedicated **Copper Creek Nights** creative tab and has survival recipes.

## How the Tablet Works

| Action | Result |
|--------|--------|
| Right-click a camera with the tablet | Link the camera (max. 12) |
| Sneak + right-click a camera | Unlink the camera |
| Right-click in the air / on another block | Open the camera view |

**In the camera view:**
- Live feed from the camera’s perspective with noise, scanlines, vignette, blinking **REC**, camera name (CAM 01 – Show Stage …), time (12 AM …) and day counter
- **← / →** or **A / D** – previous / next camera  
- **1–9** – jump to a specific camera  
- **Space** – toggle slow pan  
- **Esc** / Inventory key – close tablet  
- “NO SIGNAL” appears if the camera is unloaded, destroyed or in another dimension  
- The view closes automatically when you take damage  
- The game continues in the background (no pause) and you hear sounds from the camera’s location

## Recipes (Survival)

- **Tablet & Camera** – Iron Ingots, Glass Pane, Redstone  
- **Band figures** – Iron Block + Iron Ingots + Wool (Duke = brown, Rascal = gray, Olga = blue, Barney = orange)  
- Decoration blocks have simple recipes from wool, planks, concrete, iron etc. (check the recipe book)

## Notes

- Cameras can only show areas that are currently loaded by the player (within render distance).  
- Fully localized in **English** and **German**.  
- No dependencies other than Forge.
