Corn Delight: Classic Edition brings the beloved corn-focused Farmer's Delight addon to Minecraft Forge 1.7.10 and 1.12.2, expanding farming and cooking with new crops, ingredients, and meals.

Farmer's Delight Compatibility

Corn Delight: Classic Edition supports both Farmer's Delight implementations available for Minecraft 1.12.2, allowing players to use their preferred port.

Supported Implementations

• Farmer's Delight Classic Edition — Our multiversion implementation supporting Minecraft 1.7.10 and 1.12.2.
• Farmer's Delight Legacy by xuanyu — The independently maintained Minecraft 1.12.2 port, with its source code available on GitHub.

Only one Farmer's Delight implementation is required. Install the version compatible with your Minecraft version and addon release.

Corn Delight integrates with the installed implementation's cooking and food preparation systems, allowing players to expand their existing Farmer's Delight experience without switching to another port.

Universal Adaptive Backporter Integration (1.7.10)

Corn Delight: Classic Edition includes optional compatibility with Universal Adaptive Backporter (UAB), enabling additional original recipes that depend on modern Minecraft ingredients.

While corn farming and most of the addon's cooking functionality work independently, certain recipes require resources that were not originally available in Minecraft 1.7.10.

Additional Functionality with UAB

• Mutton: Enables original taco recipes that require mutton ingredients.
• Beetroot: Supports vegetable ingredients used in the original taco recipes.
• Modern Ingredients: Enables applicable cornbread stuffing and stuffed pumpkin recipes when their original ingredients are available.
• Biome Compatibility: Wild corn generation recognizes suitable environments introduced by UAB, including compatible modern surface biomes.

How Compatibility Works

UAB is completely optional.

When installed, Corn Delight recognizes enabled UAB ingredients and makes additional recipes available when their original requirements are satisfied.

Recipes requiring unavailable ingredients remain deferred rather than being replaced with unrelated substitutes.

This ensures that:

• Corn farming and standard recipes remain functional without UAB.
• Modern ingredient-dependent recipes become available when their requirements are met.
• Disabled UAB features do not accidentally enable recipes.
• Existing worlds and registry identities remain compatible.
• No duplicate crops or unnecessary world generation systems are introduced.

Wild corn retains its established generation behavior while recognizing suitable biome environments supplied by UAB.

UAB integration is currently specific to the Minecraft 1.7.10 version.
