Description
Cosecharia
Grow your resources instead of mining them.
Cosecharia adds 38 resource crops to Minecraft. Iron, diamonds, netherite, nether stars, sponges, obsidian — each one is a plant you can farm. Craft the seed once, plant it, and that resource becomes renewable forever.
How it works
1. Craft a Croparia Fruit. Eight wheat in a ring around an apple gives you a Croparia Fruit I. Nine of those compress into a Fruit II, nine Fruit II into a Fruit III (and you can uncompress them again).
2. Craft a seed. Shapeless, in any crafting table: one Croparia Fruit of the matching tier plus one of the resource itself.
Croparia Fruit I + Iron Ingot → Iron Seeds
Croparia Fruit II + Diamond → Diamond Seeds
Croparia Fruit III + Nether Star → Nether Star Seeds
3. Farm it. Plant on farmland and wait. When the crop matures it drops its own fruit, gives back the seed you planted, and has a good chance of throwing in up to four extra seeds — so a single seed grows into a field.
4. Convert. One fruit becomes five of the resource in a crafting table. Ores come out already smelted: an Iron Fruit gives you five iron ingots, not raw ore.
Right-click a mature crop to harvest it without breaking it. It drops everything and replants itself instantly. Holding a Fortune-enchanted tool increases the fruit yield on tier 1 and 2 crops.
The 38 crops
| Tier | Crops |
|---|---|
| I — Croparia Fruit I | Coal, Copper, Iron, Gold, Redstone, Lapis, Quartz, Glowstone, Gunpowder, Slime, String, Leather, Bone, Feather, Flint, Clay, Sand |
| II — Croparia Fruit II | Diamond, Emerald, Amethyst, Ender Pearl, Blaze Rod, Prismarine, Obsidian, Honeycomb, Ink Sac, Magma Cream, Experience Bottle |
| III — Croparia Fruit III | Netherite Scrap, Echo Shard, Shulker Shell, Ghast Tear, Nether Star, Sponge, Phantom Membrane, Nautilus Shell, Dragon's Breath, Heart of the Sea |
Higher tiers grow slower — tier 2 takes about three times as long as wheat, tier 3 about six times — and tier 3 crops ignore Fortune. Bone meal works on everything.
Every material looks like itself
No recoloured copies of the same sprite. Each material is drawn in the style of what it actually is: ingots are angled metal bars with a specular highlight, gems are faceted, crystals are shards, dusts are loose grains, stones are chipped chunks with flat faces, and there are dedicated sprites for rods, orbs, droplets, fibres, feathers, membranes and the Nether Star.
The plants match. Three different silhouettes — sturdy, crystalline and leafy — depending on what grows on them, and from the fifth growth stage you can see the material forming on the stalk, so you can tell your fields apart at a glance.
Compatibility
- Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge 47.x (Java 17)
- JEI works out of the box, no add-on needed. Every recipe is a standard crafting recipe, so the whole
seed → fruit → resourcechain shows up in the recipe viewer. - Client and server. No configuration required.
- English and Spanish translations included.
- No dependencies beyond Forge.
Installation
- Install Minecraft Forge for 1.20.1.
- Drop the
.jarinto yourmodsfolder. - Launch the game. All crops and fruits live in the Cosecharia creative tab.
Extras
The three Croparia Fruits are edible (4, 6 and 8 hunger; the tier III one can be eaten even on a full hunger bar). Handy while you wait for a harvest.
Licensed MIT. Do whatever you like with it, modpacks included.

| Tier | Cultivos |
|---|---|
| I — Fruto I | Carbón, Cobre, Hierro, Oro, Redstone, Lapislázuli, Cuarzo, Piedra Luminosa, Pólvora, Slime, Hilo, Cuero, Hueso, Pluma, Pedernal, Arcilla, Arena |
| II — Fruto II | Diamante, Esmeralda, Amatista, Ender, Blaze, Prismarina, Obsidiana, Panal, Tinta, Magma, Experiencia |
