Description

C'Races Medieval

An Origins-style mod for Forge 1.20.1: at first login, a blocking race-selection screen opens and you must pick a Medieval Fantasy race before you can really play. Each race comes with its own permanent attribute bonuses/maluses, a physical size (via Pehkui), and one active ability bound to a key (R by default).

Features

  • 10 unique races, each with distinct bonuses, drawbacks, and a special mechanic
  • One active ability per race with its own cooldown, bound to a configurable key
  • A fully custom parchment/wood-themed GUI with hand-painted race portraits
  • Server-side config to enable/disable individual races
  • Full FR/EN localization - the game's language setting is followed automatically
  • An /race command to check your race, change it, or (for admins) assign one

The 10 races

Race Size Highlights
Human 100% No bonus, no malus, no active ability - the neutral, versatile baseline
Elf 105% +10% speed, permanent night vision, -2 hearts · Wind Leap
Dark Elf 100% +2 attack, +5% speed, night vision, but weak in direct sunlight · Veil of Shadows
Dwarf 85% +4 armor toughness, permanent Haste, -15% speed · Stone Skin
Orc 120% +2 hearts, +3 attack, -2 armor · War Rage
Halfling 60% +2 luck, -2 attack · Silent Steps
Gnome 50% +25% experience gained, -1 heart · Flash of Insight
Revenant 100% Hostile mobs ignore you, immune to Poison/Wither, -10% speed · Grave Ward
Alfiq 95% Climbs walls like a spider, scares off creepers, -90% fall damage · Feline Instincts
Goblin 65% +20% attack speed, +2 luck, -1 heart, -1 armor · Wild Rush

Requirements

  • Minecraft 1.20.1
  • Forge 47.4.22 or newer
  • Pehkui (required dependency - used for per-race size)

Commands

  • /race - shows your current race, its bonuses, and your ability cooldown
  • /race changer - reopens the race selection screen
  • /race admin <player> <race> - (op only) assigns a race to a player

Config
