Description

Cracked Zombies is a gameplay-focused survival overhaul for Minecraft Forge 1.20.1 that turns ordinary zombie encounters into sustained high-pressure combat.

Instead of adding a separate custom zombie entity, the mod uses runtime event-driven behavior to upgrade and control zombie aggression directly in play. This keeps the experience lightweight while still delivering much harder and more dynamic encounters.

- Runtime zombie conversion and behavior upgrades
- Configurable cluster spawns around players
- Optional daytime pressure (zombies stay active in daylight)
- Poison-on-hit support with configurable duration/amplifier
- Increased movement speed and longer aggro/follow range
- Optional door-busting behavior
- Optional control over creative-mode spawning
- In-game configuration screen

The design goal is simple: make zombies feel relentless again, with enough configuration to tune the challenge from “spicier vanilla” to “constant threat.”
