About

Description

CraftingTakesTime.

A very small mod I made to play in my world, and decided to publish it.

This mod adds a time mechanic to crafting items:

ZpQvcm7.gif

(It works very well with mods that accelerate time instead of the vanilla 'snap to daytime' like hourglass mod)

It is focus on immersion and is intended for hardcore modpacks, to encourage critical thinking, resource managment, and decision making, especially if you're playing in a modpack that certain hours of the day are dangerous.

There's a config file for you to configure how much time you want it to pass when crafting material related items like wood or stone.

🔊 For extra immersion crafting items triggers that proper item material a custom sound!

You can also set the time to 0 to don't skip time and keep only the crafting sounds.

Enjoy!!

In the meantime please don't forget to check out my other mods, they're all focused on immersion and a little more realism, any feedback is highly appreciated.
