Bloody Bits Player Tags
Give different players different blood colors with simple command tags! This addon extends CravenCraft’s Bloody Bits, making it easy to customize bleeding for your origins, races, classes, or characters.
Features
- Individual player colors: Each player can have their own blood color.
- Customizable tag mappings: Add your own tags and hexadecimal colors.
- Included color presets: Red, green, gold, orange, purple, black, blue, and more—including four soul-inspired shades.
- No-blood and solid presets: Prevent bleeding for characters such as golems. Solid presets match the iron golem’s no-bleeding behavior; they do not create solid debris particles.
- Origins integration: Use origin powers to add a blood tag when chosen and remove it when lost.
- Configurable priority: Choose which blood tag wins when a player has multiple matching tags.
Usage
Give a player green blood:
/tag PlayerName add blood_green
Remove the green blood tag:
/tag PlayerName remove blood_green
Prevent a player from bleeding:
/tag PlayerName add blood_none
Tag changes apply the next time the player bleeds. Players without a matching tag use Bloody Bits’ normal blood-color rules.
Customize colors and tag priority in:
config/bloodybits-player-tags.properties
Restart the server or world after editing the configuration.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.20.1
- Forge 47.x
- Bloody Bits 2.1.0 for Minecraft 1.20.1
For multiplayer, install the addon on the server. Clients need Bloody Bits; this addon is optional on clients.
Origins is optional. The addon reads command tags, so tags can also be assigned through commands, datapacks, or scripts.
