Crazy Antarchy: Frosted Prison Guard

A small, independent placement addon for L_Ender’s Cataclysm, made for Crazy Antarchy. It addresses Frosted Prisons generating across steep hillsides and cutting large rectangular cliffs into the terrain.

What it does

Before a new Frosted Prison is placed, the addon samples terrain every 16 blocks across its assembled footprint, including an eight-block margin. It rejects sites with more than 12 blocks of sampled height variation or sampled water depths greater than two blocks. Cataclysm’s original templates, boss content and biome restrictions remain in use.

Requirements

• Minecraft 1.21.1
• NeoForge 21.1.253 or later on Minecraft 1.21.1
• L_Ender’s Cataclysm 3.33, with its normal dependencies
• Install this addon on both the client and dedicated server when using the Crazy Antarchy pack.

Limits and testing

This affects newly generated structures only; it does not repair saved prisons or edit existing chunks. Suitable locations may be rarer, and structure searches can take longer. Sampling reduces problematic placement but does not guarantee perfectly flat ground or prevent collisions with other structures.

Dedicated-server startup, rejection of a steep test site, successful generation at an accepted site, saving and clean shutdown were tested. Client GUI and multiplayer join testing remain pending.
