Crazy Carrots

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to harness the power of carrots? Create carrots unlike any other seen or eaten in the world of Minecraft? Well, now you can! Introducing Crazy Carrots: a mod surrounded around every pig's favorite snack! This mod adds 2 armor/tool sets, over 20 different types of carrots and carrot-related foods, including a few secret, ultra-powerful carrots, a few new block sets, and even an advancement tree!

To get started, find yourself a simple Minecraft carrot in any village or steal one from a zombie. Make yourself a carrot farm, and start smelting your carrots into Carrot Ingots and using both the Carrots and Ingots to build your carroty empire! (I would highly recommend JEI in order to figure out some of the more difficult crafts.)

Some notable features are:

- The Carrot Blocks and Golden Carrot Blocks: Two new blocks that not only would look good in any pile of vegetation, but also act as a more compact way of storing your carrots and golden carrots! (4 [Golden] Carrots = 1 [Golden] Carrot Block, and this craft is reversible!)

- The Carrot Lantern: A shiny, orange lamp that will look good hanging in any of your carroty chandeliers!

- The Carrot Crate and Golden Carrot Crate: two storage containers that, when placed, allow the player to store items in one space regardless of the blocks around or on top of it (similar to a Barrel). The Carrot Crate can store 54 slots of items and the Golden Carrot Crate can store 72 slots of items.

- The Wild Carrots: A block similar to the vanilla carrot crop, but it can be placed on any natural block (grass, dirt, coarse dirt, podzol, mycelium, farmland).

- The Compressed Carrots: A group of carrots that, when compressed together, will compress their food stats and become massively healthy! (The largest carrot, the Quad-Compressed Carrot, is made of 6,561 vanilla carrots!)

- The Ultimate Carrot: A carrot that when consumed, will grant the lucky player with immense power! A true carrot king's feast!

- The Infinity Carrot: A carrot that, although it may be rivaled with some of the other carrots in this mod, harnesses a much more cosmic power: The power of infinite matter! No matter how many chomps of this carrot you take, you will always have more of it! True power at your fingertips!

- The Carrot Set and Golden Carrot Set: Crafted with Carrot Ingots and then smithed with Carrot Gems, respectively, these two gear sets are sure to give you the competitive edge you need when fighting against any foe! If you want to see the power they possess, then you'll have to craft them yourself! ;)

[NOTE: This mod may be overpowered in some rights, and that is the point of it. This is one of my first mods, and as much as I enjoy mods that enhance the vanilla experience, I also revel in mods that make the game crazier and overall, more fun!]

FAQs:

Port this mod to [insert MC version here]? Not any time soon. As for right now, I will be creating all my mods for MC 1.16.5 as this is the version that I myself am the most comfortable with currently. Maybe in the future, as MCreator is updated and I broaden my scope with my mods, I will decide to update/backport my mods to different versions. But for now, ALL my mods will be for MC 1.16.5.

Fabric version? No. Again, this is a question of my personal preference, but I have no interest in working with the Fabric modloader.

Can I use this mod in my modpack/YouTube vid/etc.? Yes, of course! Feel free to use my mods as you see fit. Just don't outright steal my mod or anything that would infringe on the work that I put into the mod. But if you do decide to use any of my mods, feel free to let me know so I can check out your video, modpack, etc.! I would love to see my mod in action! :D
