Description
Crazygen: Huge Mountains
Overworld terrain with massive mountains that reach about 1,800 blocks tall, with a build limit of y=2015.
Features
- Huge mountains: peaks rise far above vanilla's limit, with wide slopes instead of thin spikes.
- More mountains: mountain biomes are common, so you don't have to travel far to find one.
- Wider terrain: continents and biomes are about 4 times larger, like vanilla's Large Biomes.
- Vanilla bottom: bedrock and deepslate stay at y=-64, and caves and ores generate as normal.
- Datapack only: no mods needed.
Install
- Choose A version, the version with huge and large mountains, or the version with much tamer mountains, i prefer the version 1.0 aka tamer and smaller mountains
- Download the zip.
- When creating a world, open More > Data Packs and add the pack.
- Create the world.
Notes
- New worlds only. Chunks that already exist keep their old terrain.
- It replaces the vanilla overworld. It will conflict with other datapacks that change overworld generation.
- Chunk generation is slower because the world is much taller. Use a lower render distance with distant horizons.
- Find mountains with
/locate biome minecraft:jagged_peaks. - Version: Minecraft 26.3.
Made for a relaxed survival SMP.
