A lightweight optimization and diagnostics mod for Create on NeoForge.
Built for large factories, logistics networks, package systems, trains, processing chains, and advanced Create worlds.
⚙️ Performance Improvements
Create is at its best when factories become huge, automated, interconnected… and slightly terrifying. Create: Advanced Optimization helps reduce unnecessary background workload in several commonly used Create systems, keeping advanced worlds smoother as your builds grow.
- Faster Spout processing by optimizing repeated filling recipe lookups.
- Smarter Basin and Mechanical Crafter checks to avoid unnecessary repeated recipe calculations.
- Reduced background workload across selected Create systems.
- Better support for large factories, processing lines, logistics networks, package deliveries, trains, and contraptions.
- Package Entity monitoring to help detect overloaded logistics areas before they become a problem.
- Optimized Diving Boots checks to remove small but repeated unnecessary operations.
No recipes are changed. No machines are nerfed. No Create gameplay is altered. Just a cleaner, lighter experience for ambitious Create worlds.
Create: Advanced Optimization does not change Create recipes, machines, progression, or gameplay. It simply reduces background workload where possible.
📦 Package Entity Monitoring
Large package networks can become expensive on busy servers. The mod monitors active Package Entities and can help identify chunks with unusually high package counts.

Profile your Create setup directly in-game and identify which systems take the most server time.
- Factory and Smart Block Entity activity
- Pipes, funnels, inventories, and Spouts
- Package systems and global logistics
- Chain Conveyors
- Railway managers, trains, map sync, and track graphs
- Redstone Links and other Create systems
Each session exports a readable TXT report and a visual HTML report. Open the HTML file in a browser to view server health, MSPT, top hotspots, package data, alerts, and recommended checks.

🛠️ Commands
All commands require OP permission level 2.
/cao status- Shows enabled optimizations, profiler status, and package statistics./cao profile start <seconds>- Starts a Create profiling session from 5 to 3600 seconds./cao profile stop- Stops the active profiling session and exports a report./cao report- Exports a report from the latest available profiler data./cao report last- Shows information about the latest exported report./cao packages top [limit]- Lists chunks with the highest Package Entity count./cao reset- Resets profiler and package monitoring data.
The full /createadvancedoptimization command is also available.
