About

Description

Ever feel that using vanilla diamonds as currency on your Create Mod server felt boring? Figured "This is modded Minecraft, why can't I find a decent currency to use"? Well I've got the solution for you!

Create: Simple Coins does exactly as said on the tin, adds coins! Five different coins are added: Copper, Iron, Gold, Diamond, and Netherite.

Requires Create Mod.

Crafting

Each coin uses roughtly one of their respective material to make (Except copper which uses Zinc) + another nugget of material. Smelting them in a blast furnace returns the main material, meaning the coins should effectivly keep their value. Coins are 'Minted' using sequenced assembly.

A graphic of all the coin recipes

I suggest using JEI to view all the recipes in-game.

All the recipes are done via data, so they should always be editable via datapacks if you want to change them.

Defective Coins

There is a small chance (<1%) that each coin will fail minting. These "defective" coins are mostly worthless, as melting them down gives back little material.

Issues, Suggestions, and Plans

Report and bugs, issues or suggestions on GitHub. The scope of the most is meant to be real simple and stay small, so no big features will be added.

As it stands, updating to other forge versions is a maybe. There are no plans currently to port to Fabric or other modloaders. If anyone wants to help by porting to more versions/platforms, feel free to reach out.

Of course, with the intention of the mod, feel free to use it in your modpacks. :)
