Creeper Babies
Creeper Babies is a Fabric mod that adds tiny baby creepers to Minecraft. It is inspired by the fun idea of smaller baby mobs while giving creepers their own special breeding, friendship, and pet-like behavior.
Baby creepers do not spawn naturally. To get one, feed TNT to two normal creepers. The creepers will show heart particles, walk toward each other, and create a baby creeper. Baby creepers stay small forever and do not grow into adult creepers.
Baby creepers are still creepers, but their explosion is much smaller than a normal creeper explosion. Their blast is designed to be a tiny one-block-style explosion instead of a full creeper crater.
You can use a Golden Dandelion on a baby creeper to make it friendly. Friendly baby creepers change texture, stop exploding, and can be lured with gunpowder. Baby creepers can also be attached to leads, making them easier to move around your world.

How to get a baby creeper
- Find or spawn two normal creepers.
- Right-click each creeper with TNT.
- Wait for them to walk toward each other.
- A baby creeper will appear.
How to make a baby creeper friendly
Right-click a baby creeper with a Golden Dandelion. Once friendly, it will change texture and stop exploding.
Important installation info
This mod must be installed on both the client and the server. It adds a custom entity, item, textures, and gameplay behavior, so it is not server-side only.
