Cubing's Motion Blur

This is a motion blur mod that aims to be the best looking blur in the entire game. Instead of using simple methods like estimating the blur from two static frame images, it reconstructs each pixel's actual on-screen motion using the depth buffer and the camera's rotation/projection matrices.

What you can tweak

  • How strong the blur is, and how many samples it takes
  • Trails left behind by fast movement
  • If entities have motion blur

Configure it using ModMenu

Needs

It is only client side and is very resource intensive, especially upon first joining. It does typically stabilize after a few minutes.
