Start your Adventure today!

Daedalus is a progression-themed mod for Minecraft, focusing on MMO-RPG inspired elements like exploration, gathering, character progression, completing quests and uncovering the ever-growing world that is Tharae.

Begin your journey in the peacefully quiet Timeroot Plaza, home to the mysterious Shroomans. Learn to uncover new and unique lands surrounding Tharae and get to know all about it's story.
Every new area offers unique materials, new enemies and harder challenges.

Explore the World

Once you've made it into the Timeroot Plaza, the central hub of Tharae, you'll meet various NPCs which may or may not have objectives for you to complete.

Master all the skills, upgrade your equipment, obtain special accessories to aid your progression and defeat various different enemies, scattered throughout the world.

Everyone needs a place to stay

When you feel that the challenges of Tharae make you tired, settle down on your own little island, located close to the Timeroot Plaza.

When at home, you can tear down, build, plant crops and much more to your heart's extent. The sky's the limit!

Multiplayer Notice!

Daedalus is primarily designed and balanced for singleplayer only.

While multiplayer is supported and basic compatibility is tested before every release, it is not the main focus of development.

Multiplayer bugs are considered to be of lower priority than singleplayer issues, but I will always look into fixing anything game-breaking if I can find a solution.

Please keep in mind that while playing with friends, bugs or crashes may occur, which otherwise wouldn't be an issue in singleplayer.

Short Development Notice
Daedalus' development is still ongoing and a new update will be available... soon...

It's been difficult to figure out the identity of the mod and the world of Tharae, which is why no new content has been released in a few months.
I've taken this time off to really ensure that Daedalus has it's own identity and feel, before adding too much content which I would otherwise have to tweak as time goes on.

As I said, a new release will be available soon and will hopefully bring more or less regular updates.

This project is developed on MCreator 2026.1. While this comes with some technical limitations, I always try to push those limits and create the best experience possible.
