Description
Damage = Random Item Skyblock
The Challenge
This custom map spawns you on a small bedrock platform over the void in a completely empty world.
Just as the title says, the only way to get items is by damaging each other. You'll have 100 minutes to equip yourself. When the timer runs out the endgame-bossfight begins.
This challenge is inspired by the German youtuber and streamer BastiGHG.

The Item Pool
Every time you take damage you are given a random amount of a random item or block from the entire game. Items or blocks will only stack up to their limit, for example dirt has a random range of 1 to 64, buckets only up to 16. Items that can't be stacked at all will also not stack when given to the player.
The Bossfight
The Bossfight is split into 5 Waves:
-
1st Wave: 1 Enderdragon and 1 Wither
-
2nd Wave: 1 Enderdragon and 2 Withers
-
3rd Wave: 1 Enderdragon and 3 Withers
-
4th Wave: 1 Enderdragon and 4 Withers
-
5th Wave: 1 Enderdragon and 5 Withers
Just like in the End dimension, the 10 Obsidian Towers will spawn around the start platform as well as the Exit Portal in the center. Everytime you complete a wave the next one will start immediately and the End Crystals will respawn. The different Withers will have colored particles and colored bossbar-names to distinguish each one.
The Commands
The datapack includes 5 Commands to control the timer:
-
/trigger dmg_start: Starts the timer
-
/trigger dmg_stop: Stops the timer
-
/trigger dmg_reset: Resets the timer
-
/trigger dmg_resume: Resumes the timer after it has been stopped
-
/trigger dmg_10s: Sets the timer to 10 seconds
and one command for the singeplayers:
- /trigger dmg_single: Places a magma block to damage yourself and sets the difficulty to easy
The Installation
1 Download the datapack and open your instance folder
2 Copy the datapack from the datapacks folder
3 Paste the datapack to the datapacks folder of your world
Note
Since this is a Multiplayer Challenge you must install the world on a server or host the world on your PC with the new multiplayer features of Java 26.2. It runs perfectly on Aternos or any other free Minecraft server provider. If you still want to play the challenge alone use the command to place the magma block.
As soon as the countdown reaches 0 it starts to count up.
This datapack works in anything as long as its 26.2.
The endbosses are at difficulty "normal".
This is my first datapack.
Disclaimer
This is a fan-made Minecraft challenge inspired by the German youtuber and streamer BastiGHG. This datapack is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to BastiGHG.
