29 September 2026: all versions updated to temove too aggressive model baking behavior, so the mod would not  break other mods' model anymore. 

30 September 2026:  1.20.1 has beed updated to match the 1.21.1 behavior (mosaic glass requires SilkTouch enchantment to drop itself) and sounds of mosaic glass blocks have been fixed.

Dary's Decoratives: Mosaic Glass (or shortly DD Mosaic Glass) is the first mod of the (hopefully) upcoming series of small cosmetic mods. The gole is to revive decorative blocks (and add many new ones!) from my old mod Untouched Nature and make them separate mods.

DD Mosaic Glass mod adds 17 types of floral or natural themed stained glass + 17 complementing base glass and the similar glass panes. In total, it adds 34 glass blocks and 34 glass panels.

Mosaic glass blocks and panes can be mined using a Silk Touch enchanted tool. 

To craft mosaic glass blocks you will firstly need to combine stained glass blocks and Nippers on the crafting table and get glass shards of the corresponding colour. Then combine colourful glass shards on the crafting table to get mosaic glass blocks. To craft mosaic glass panes simply follow vanilla crating logic to make them from corresponding mosaic glass blocks.

DD Mosaic Glass has custom panes models to let them connect to each other without seams. Unfortunately they have minor visual issues, read the "Known isues" section for details.

Known issues

Unfortunately there is no easy way to make glass panes connect seamlessly (like Optifine does to each pane individually) without visual issues *, with each other, using vanilla models and behavior.
