Dead But Not Gone (DBNG)

Dead By Next Grief (DBNG) Ever want to play hardcore but not reset the server everytime you or your friend dies well i have THE SOLUTION a hardcore Fabric mod for 1.21.1 that makes death genuinely permanent in terms of progression.

When you die, everything tied to you is gone. Not just your hotbar your ender chest, your XP, your spawn point, your advancements, your stats. Every chest, barrel, furnace, hopper, and shulker box you ever placed gets wiped. Every chest minecart, hopper minecart, and boat chest you owned gets deleted outright. The first person to open any naturally-generated loot chest claims it, so exploration has real stakes. High-value blocks you placed diamond blocks, netherite blocks, beacons, ancient debris are destroyed, not just emptied. There's no clever workaround, no stashing gear in an unclaimed chest before a risky fight. If it was yours, it's gone.

It's designed for servers where death is supposed to mean something the world moves on without you exactly as you left it, minus everything you had.

The intended setup is keepInventory true so nothing hits the ground the mod handles all the clearing itself, cleanly and quietly in the background.


I would like to note there are going to be a lot of incompatibilities with this mod a lot of mods will not work in its current state but im looking into how to make it more compatible ill make a modpack eventually and post a link here for it 

this was really only intended for me and my friends but i figured its a interesting concept and maybe someone would enjoy it 

if you find any bugs please report them in the comments so i can fix it ive tried to cover all basis to clear items but im sure theres something i missed
