A simple yet immersive Minecraft mod that turns darkness into a real threat, forcing you to rethink how you move, build, and survive.

Light is safety. Shadows are deadly.

Features

• Take damage in darkness: Standing in areas with very low light will slowly damage you.
• Light becomes essential: Torches, lanterns, and sunlight are no longer optional — they’re survival tools.
• Air blocks count: Even empty space can be dangerous if the light level is too low.
• Day vs night danger: Nighttime and caves become significantly more threatening.
• Survival-focused design: Encourages strategic lighting, base planning, and careful exploration.
